12-buttoncapacitive touch keypad module based on theATiny1616AVR 8-bit 16 MHz chip. High-performance chip with integratedQTouchtouch controller supportscapacitive touchinterface. The buttons are arranged in a3 x 4matrix. There is aGroveconnector on the module for simple connection to theBaseShield overlay. By using an additional ATiny 1616 microcontroller, the module uses onlytwo UART interface pins ofthe main microcontroller - TX and RX - for communication. It operates with3.3 V and 5 V.

Capacitive Touch Keyboard Module Outputs
The module uses only 2 UART pins to communicate with the main module, thanks to the additional ATiny1616 chip. The use of Grove connector makes it much easier to connect the board to the BaseShield cover.
The module's touch-keyboard module leads are capacitive.
