The sensor is used to determine acceleration and magnetic field. The measurement of these quantities allow 3-axis accelerometer and magnetometer, as well as necessary for the proper operation of the system are passive elements. Built-in regulator allows you to power the module, any voltage range from 2.5 V to 5.5 V.


For communication with the Central unit uses the popular I2C bus (TWI). Conclusions are popular goldpin connectors, for connecting the sensor via wires or to connect directly attached to plate fixation.

Device addresses are 7-bit. The magnetometer has a fixed device address 0011110. The low-order bit address of the accelerometer can be set using the line SA0_A (001100x). By default it is pulled to ground (0011000). To change the value of the LSB is necessary to pull the line to the supply voltage through a jumper located on the rear of the module.
