Description of product: SparkFun Thing, Plus ESP32 WROOM
ESP32 Thing Plus board from SparkFunwith a built-in ESP32-D0WDQ6 module. The module has pins in the form of holes for goldpins, 2.54 mm pitch. The system from the ESP32 familyfor communication in a wi-fi networkin the 2.4 GHz band and theBluetooth BLE / v4.2 standard. Operating voltage is from2.3 V to 3.6 V. The system has 38 pins along with popular interfaces, i.a.:UART, SPI, I2C.
The construction of the SparkFun Thing Plus module - ESP32 WROOM
Espressif ESP32 WROOM is a powerful, versatilemodule of MCU, wi-fi+ BT+, BLE, which is designed for a wide range of applications. The heart of the module is the ESP32-D0WDQ6chip which needs to be calibrated and adaptive.

Peripheral devices and I/O of the Thing Plus system - ESP32 WROOM
ESP32 Thing Plus offers the standard schedule of peripheral devices, including:
- 13 analog-to-digital channels (ADC).
- 3 UART (two of them are configured by default in the Arduino IDE, the third UART is used to load / debug).
- 3 SPI.
- 2 x I2C.
- 2 x I2S Audio.
- Dual-channel digital-to-analog converter (DAC).
- 16 PWM outputs.
The power supply of the SparkFun Thing Plus platform - ESP32 WROOM.
To power the ESP32 Thing Plus module usethe USB port and single-celllithium-polymer rechargeable battery(Li-Pol). If to the board is simultaneously connected the USB and Li-Pol, built-in power controller to power the rechargeable battery at speeds of up to 500 mA.
Alternative Thing Plus power source there are VBAT and VUSB contacts located on the side of the board. The maximum allowable input voltage for VUSB is 5.8 V, and VBAT can be connected only with the rechargeable Li-Pol battery.
