1. All sockets work (hold plugs firmly), LEDs are lit, switches also do not cause problems. The product looks solid. 2. The hub in real life looks just like in the picture, nothing to complain about. 3. So far, the hub is not causing any problems. It even works when I have 3 flash drives, a MIDI device, a mouse, and an active HDD connected. I rate the utility as high, mainly due to the switches and indicator lights showing that a particular port is active. Switches are very useful because you can activate flash drives and other devices when needed, confirmed by the lit indicator. The lights immediately show us which port is active. So there is no need to remove devices to deactivate them. I think in the case of the HDD, it is necessary to use the safe hardware removal feature in Windows before turning off the port.
