Description

The Maestro series is a universal controller servos also able to interpret the signals of digital and analog. Due to the different control schemes, a wide range of supply voltages, as well as the ease of use, Maestro has proven itself in many projects that use serwomechanizmy. Depending on the number of used services, the user can choose a suitable option. Available 6, 12, 18 and 24 channel modules.

Service driver

The user can configure the controller for the requirements of your project, choosing one of three different communication interfaces:

 

USB app device connects to the computer using the mini USB cable. For the operation of the controller is an intuitive program that allows, in particular:

  • manage orczyka
  • determination of the rotation speed of the servo
  • read data from analog and digital
  • setting the logical values of the outputs of the I/O

 

In order to use the option of control via a USB port, just download the program to your hard disk (version: Windows, Linux), launch it and connect your controller to any USB port on the computer.

 

Serial interface (UART) is the interface allows you to connect to the Maestro with the Central unit, which can be any microcontroller or set to run , for example, Arduino, STM32Discovery or Rasbperry Pi. Service servos costs by sending special command character. Examples command description can be found in the manual.

 

The script - by selecting this option, the user can create and store in memory of the Maestro selected a sequence of events, for example, the dependence of the position servo from the voltage level on the analog input to which is connected any analog sensor, e.g., gyroscope, accelerometer or rangefinder. Description of scripting language together with examples of usage you can find in the instructions.

 

The app allows you to control the position and feed rate, to read and write status And/O via USB cable.

Conclusions-popular strap goldpin (step 2.54 mm) are suitable for standard connectors, servo and connecting cables.
