Product description: Rotation sensor/pulser/optic encoder - Broadcom HEDS-5540-H14
Increase optical encoder generating the three-phase, rectangular impulse signalwith a resolution of400 impulses per revolutionwhich can be interpreted using a microcontroller, e.g.Arduino, so the measurement of the speed of rotation, angular velocity, position, number of revolutions and direction of rotation,is possible.The working voltage is 5 V DC. The incremental encoder operates in temperature from -40 to 100 °C.
Through the use of TTL system (RS422), at the output is a stable signal at 5 Volts regardless of supply voltage in the range from 4.5 V to 5.5 V.
