The Super-Phosphor Osciloscope (SPO) technologyensures that the signal refreshes very quickly, giving you a much brighter saturation trace for events occurring at higher frequency and darker for those occurring at lower frequency.

I wanted an oscilloscope for a long time, but Siglent SDS1104X-E convinced me to buy it. I simply could not resist the relatively low price + the attractive appearance of the device. After unpacking the box, checking the device externally and connecting it to the network, I just knew how to turn it on otherwise nothing. Nevertheless, the device will please even such an inexperienced person, because just by starting it, I am already he immediately began to feel like a doctor, or at least an electrical engineer. Startup takes about 25 seconds, during which the device will show itself approximately like a model in front of the photographer. Including beeping. I wanted to connect a probe and to my surprise there were 4 available including 4x accessories for measuring and 4 tiny screwdrivers. After finding out that the probes were identical, I selected one and connected it to the first input. Not knowing what to do next, I stuck the tip of the probe into my finger and a curve appeared on the screen network hum 50Hz. That was my first measurement. I tried to read the first few pages of the manual and made compensation on the probes with tiny screwdrivers connected to the tabs conveniently offered for this purpose on the front of the device. Then I made a primitive LC element from a coil, a coil and hoped to create high-frequency damped oscillations. They actually came into existence, but capture them on the screen I managed to use the device only after roughly understanding the "trigger" function, which confused me with the number of settings. Then a Clapp oscillator grew up around a small coil with several turns, capacitors and NPN transistor BC547 on a non-solder, oscillating at 20 MHz, which provided the ram with the first stable sinusoid for basic research. Those were really nice times because until then I could only monitor the activity of a device by its external manifestations. I think the performance of this ram for the money is incredible. Siglent is overall much nicer and faster, has more features, better math and stats, more waferforms per second, better triggers, better noise, etc. than if I had rushed years ago perhaps something like Hantek.
