Description

Module using a 3-axis accelerometer, a magnetometer and a gyroscope allows to measure acceleration, magnetic field and angular velocity in three-dimensional space. Knowledge of these values allows to find the object in 3D space. For communication with the Central unit uses the popular I2C bus (TWI). The module has a voltage regulator and all necessary passive components. Conclusions are popular goldpin connectors, for connecting the sensor via wires or to connect directly attached to plate fixation.

 

The product is compatible with Arduino

The manufacturer has prepared a library (L3G, LSM303) and a model program for users module Arduino.

 

3D model managed in real-time using : MinImu-9 Arduino and 3DSMax.

Addressing I2C
 

Accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope in a module MinImu-9, are 7-bit. Mounted respectively on:

  • Accelerometer LSM303DLHC - 0011001b
  • Magnetometer LSM303DLHC - 0011110b
  • Gyroscope L3GD20 - 1101011b ( with the possibility of setting the last bit with the jumpers)

 

 

Dimensions

The system is small in size, its contour is rectangle size: 20.3 x 12.7 mm. For mounting, use the hole with an inner diameter of 2.1 mm.
