Description
Overlay for SparkFun's Arduino allowing you to easily connect to the Ethernet network. It has a microSD card reader and the ability to power from RJ45 - PoE (Power over Ethernet) socket. The module cooperates with standardArduino Ethernet andSD Card library.
The outputs are holes for mountinggoldpin slats - 2,54 mm raster(not included in the set, available separately.
PoE power supply comes from unused pairs of cable, so called twisted-pair cable, provided that voltage at the input has been connected to them through a suitable router or switch. V+ output has been connected to pairs 4 and 5, V- to 7 and 8. Using jumpers you can connect V+ and V- pins to GND and VIN, which will power theArduinoboard.

Attention! The module is not compatible with 802.3af PoE standard. Power supply of this shieldu is a proprietary idea of SparkFun, so called DIY PoE. The voltage should not exceed the range from 7V to 12V allowed by Arduino. |
