Description

Operating systems
Minicomputer Khadas VIM2 works with the Android, AndroidTV, LibreELEC, Ubuntu, DualOS and U-Boot systems. The system can be uploaded to the card microSD or drectly on the internal memory of the minicomputer.

How to run the minicomputer Khadas?
- AC adapter with USB connector type C - 5 V to 9 V (recommended 5V) with max. load current of 2 A
- HDMI cable - to connect the device to the monitor
- Mouse and keyboard for control and inputting data into the device
Communication
Minicomputer has basic communication interfaces that can be found in computers of PC class. The user has at their disposal:
- two USB A connectors + USB type C, to which you can connect, for example, a mouse, keyboard or USB flash drive. If you find that there are too few slots, you can increase their number using an external USB HUB.
- Gigabit Ethernet slot, possibley to directly connect to the LAN network.
- wi-fi module allows communication with wireless network 802.11 b/g/n/ac.
- Bluetooth 4.2 module - secure data transmission through the interface.
- GPIO x 40 pin - can be used to control the LEDs, buttons, drivers of engines. Among them are the pins supporting interfaces: I2C, I2S, SPDIF, UART, PWM, ADC, ISO7816, IOs.
- microSD slot - for memory card microSD on which there is an operating system installed.
- HDMI connector - transfers image to the monitor.
Power supply
As a power source, the system uses a connector USB type C. The manufacturer recommends that the voltage indicated on the plug had a value of 5.0 and a minimum current efficiency of the used adapter shall not be less than 2.0 A.
