Product description: Wio Lite W600 - ATSAMD21 - with connectors
Wio Lite W600 module equipped with AtmelSAMD21 Cortex-M0+andW600 ARM Cortex-M3 moduleresponsiblefor 2.4 GHz Wifi wireless communication. The module is powered by a5-voltUSB-Csocket or by a 3.7-voltLi-Pol batteryvia the built-in JST connector. PI PI PIs on the board work with3.3 Vlogical voltage of which 6 pins are analogue and 14 are digital.
Wio Lite W600 - ATSAMD21 - with connectors
The Wio Lite W600 is equipped with 14 digital I/O pins and 6 analogue inputs operating at 3.3 V with a maximum current of up to 40 mA per pin. The module is powered via USB-C socket with 5 V or via Li-Pol battery via JST connector. Additionally, there is a CN3065 chip on the board which is responsible for charging the battery without disconnecting it from the module.
The Wio Lite W600 board is connected.
There are 3 LEDs on the board:
- User LED - a diode without an assigned function, it can be controlled by software.
- Charging indicator - LED indicating charging of the connected Li-Pol battery.
- Reset LED - LED lights up when the reset button on the board is pressed.
Programming the Wio Lite module W600
The Wio Lite W600 module is based on the Atmel SAMD21Cortex-M0+chip, similarly to Arduino MKR Zero, soin theory it shouldbe fully compatible with it. Programming of the board is done using Arduino IDE environment. The manufacturer has prepared ready-made W600 library with sample codes.
