Product description:GP2Y0D815Z0F Sharp - digital distance sensor of 15cm with PCB stand
The sensor can detect object in the range of up to 5 cm. The output is a digital signal. High status (logical one) indicates no object in the field of view of the sensor. Low status (logical zero) appears when the object is detected.

PCB stand
The sensor has soldered PCB stand that facilitate the installation and use of the sensor. Board has the essential passive components for the sensor's operation and LED signaling the detection of the object. Using the stand, the sensor's maintenance is reduced to connecting three pins: power - VCC, ground - GND, and a logic output signal, marked with the OUT symbol. Board has goldpin pins that facilitate the connection of the sensor with the commissioning set (e.g. Arduino or STM32Discovery) via connecting cables.

The product is compatible with Arduino For proper operation, it is sufficient to connect power supply of 5 V and the sensor output to any digital pin of Arduino. Reading is done through a standard function digitalRead(number_of_pin). |
