Reliable Atmega 2560 chip
CR-5 Pro uses Atmega 2560 controller chip. Microcontroller provides high reliability and precise voltage control of the device. It also allows to improve the smooth movement of printing elements and increase the efficiency of heat dissipation. The printer is equipped with an efficient 350 W power supply, thanks to which the time needed to warm up the nozzle and the hotbed to working temperature is reduced.
Bowden extruder
In Creality CR-5 Pro, the manufacturer used aBowden type extruder.This solution provides a stable and uniform feeding ofthe filament. Thanks to this, the printouts are free of characteristic distortions. Extruder is equipped with a filament sensor, which informs about the lack of cartridge for printing. Cooling system in the form ofa powerful fanimproves heat dissipation, allowing to obtain a smoother surface models.

Creality CR-5 Pro has an advanced system of moving elements of the printing mechanism, which allows to achieve a layer resolution of100 micronsand highprecision of the XY axis of 0.012 mm.
Carborundum glass for better print adhesion
For the CR-5 Pro, adhesion is improved by the use of a surface made ofcarborundumglass on the worktable. This makes for betterprintadhesion. They also have an almost perfectly flat first layer. A great advantage is also the ease of tearing the finished model from the substrate.
