The regulator increases the input voltage range of 1.5 V to 16 V on the output, adjustable with a potentiometer from 2.5 V to 25 V , provided that the input voltage cannot be higher than the output. Continuous current up to 2 A allows the power electronics and actuators, e.g. DC motors.
The module has three pins:
Voltage is set using the potentiometer. Turning clockwise increases the voltage.

The efficiency of the Converter depends on input voltage and output voltage. The average is from 80 % to 90 %. The maximum current which can provide the layout, 2 A.

In electronic circuits, the current run can lead to the emergence of so-called pins, that is, sharp voltage spike to a value above a certain level.
