Porovnání velikosti modulu Pololu A-Star s Arduino Leonardo a Micro

Unlike theArduino Micro, it does not have soldered connectors (however, goldpin strips are included in the package). The user decides which leads will be needed so the board can maintain its small size.

Attention!

Before connecting, readthe installation guide.

Leads

A-Star 32U4 Mini zgodny z Arduino - schemat

The figure above shows the distribution of leads of the A-Star module from Pololu. With Yellow marked were I/O pins(input/output) with the name in accordance with the documentation of ATmega32u4, with green color marked were analog inputs of the A/C converter. On a gray background with the green font indicated were the names of the leads characteristic for the Arduino.

Power

The module can be powered with 5 Volts through a micro USB cable and the external device (5 V - 15 V), for example, the AC adapter, the battery or the rechargeable battery. If the supply voltage is higher than 5V, it should be connected to VIN lead, which is connected with a stabilizer.

Inputs/outputs

A-Star has 15 digital inputs/outputs (I/O). Each pin allows for current consumption with a maximum current of 25 mA, which allows for direct connection of LEDs with the resistors and controlling other chips. In addition to standard I/O, some of the leads also havespecial functions.

Programming

Creating and downloading software is allowed by the free environment of the Arduino IDE.Implemented bootloader allows you to send the program directly viathe micro USB cable. A detailed description can be found inthe instructionssupplied by Pololu.
