Description

The module with small size and great possibilities. Equipped with a 32bit microcontroller with core ARM Cortex M4 120 MHz, 512 KB Flash, 192 KB RAM. It has 62 pins of I/o, in which are 20 PWM channels, 25 analog inputs and 2 outputs, the DMA controller and popular communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, I2S, CAN. Leads operate at a voltage of 3.3 V, however, tolerate a value of 5 V.

Teensy has an efficent 3.3 V regulator that can directly power other modules, such as the popular wi-fi ESP8266 so the tiles can maintain their small size. The set has soldered connectors golpin.

 

Inputs/outputs

The system has 62 pins I/O. All have the capability of handling the interruptions handling. Between them are 25 analog inputs with high-resolution, 20 PWM outputs, 14 timers, 6 UART interfaces, 3 SPI interfaces, 3 I2C, I2S, CAN Bus, RTC module, 16 channels of DMA and the Ethernet module.

Programming

The module has loaded bootloader so it can be programmed using the built-in microUSB connector without the need of using an external programmer. To the purpose, you can use any environment of C language or, after uploading the extension teensyduino, through the Arduino IDE.
