FriendlyARM NanoPi

FriendlyARM NanoPi is a family of single-board minicomputers, consisting of many different modules. They are designed for a variety of applications, which is why almost any electronic device designer can use them. Among the NanoPi minicomputers there are miniature boards that take up very little space in the final device. The offer also includes larger modules that you can use in more advanced, multimedia projects. NanoPi minicomputers are also single-board computers with functionality of regular PCs. The products created by FriendlyARM are also chosen by electronics specialists due to many communication ports. Probably no other family of minicomputers is as diverse as NanoPi. In the Botland store offer you will find many main modules of FriendlyARM minicomputers. You can also take advantage of the wide range of NanoPi compatible accessories, such as: power supplies, heat sinks, cases, covers or memory cards.

NanoPC - a minicomputer with the functionality of a PC

NanoPC is the most powerful module in the NanoPi minicomputer family. Its dimensions are quite small - only 100 x 60 mm. Despite this, the board features an ultra-efficient, octa-core Samsung S5P6818 processor (in the NanoPC T3 model) or quad-core Samsung S5P4418 (in the NanoPC T2), both clocked at 1.4 GHz. These minicomputers offer efficient DDR3 32-bit RAM with a capacity of up to 1GB, as well as 8GB of internal eMMC memory. Minicomputers from the NanoPC family work under Debian and Android, as well as they supports U-boot software. Among the many connectors available on the board, there are two USB type A sockets and HDMI connector (supporting audio and video). You can also connect an external camera module and a compatible LCD display. Two network interfaces (Ethernet Gigabit and WiFi) as well as Bluetooth module bring you almost unlimited possibilities in field of IoT desgins. The NanoPC minicomputer also supports embedded serial interfaces: UART, GPIO, I2C, as well as SPI and PWM. The PCB is equipped with two user buttons (Power and Reset) and LED indicators.

NanoPi NEO - great possibilities, compact form

NanoPi NEO are the smallest form factor minicomputers in the NanoPi family. The tiny PCB (only 40 x 40 mm!) is based on an Allwinner H3 processor with a Quad-Core ARM Cortex A7 running at 1.2 GHz. Various NanoPi NEO models have from 256 to 512 MB of DDR3 32-bit RAM memory. The boards also have GPIO connectors with a 2.54 mm pitch. It’s very important for electronic designers who have experience in working with Raspberry Pi minicomputers. The GPIO connector has 36 or 68 pins. NanoPi NEO minicomputers can seamlessly work under control of many popular operating systems. These include: OpenWrt, Armbian, DietPi, Lakka, Kali Linux. NanoPi NEO also supports u-boot and some modules can run lightweight and flexible UbuntuCore. For electronic device designers, the availability of expansion connectors is very important. NanoPi contains from one to even three USB ports, depending on sub-family choosen. Standard communication interfaces, including UART, I2C, SPI and of course GPIO are also available. Some NanoPi minicomputer models also have PWM outputs for easy control of external devices like DC motors (with external driver or power switch). The PCBs are equipped with an Ethernet connector (RJ45) enabling high-speed wired network connections. They also have other useful components, such as microSD memory card slots and LED indicators.

NanoPi accessories

In our store you can buy various NanoPi accessories. We have many dedicated cases for minicomputers. They contain holes for connectors matching mechanical dimensions of the computers. Some housings are equipped with a heat sink. Botland's offer also includes heat sinks and fans that protect the minicomputer from overheating in more advanced applications. You can also buy original power supplies with a microUSB connector. They are compatible with Raspberry Pi minicomputers, so they also fit NanoPi. You will also find expansion modules, called Hat. Like the Raspberry Pi minicomputers, these shields bring new functionality to the NanoPi modules. You can also use the Basic StarterKit if you are just beginning your adventure with minicomputers.
