Product description: 3D printer - Urbicum DX
3D printerfor professional use by Polish manufacturer Urbicum. The device allows to create three-dimensional models inincremental FDM/FFF technology.DX model offers305 x 305 x 380 mm working area. It uses an advanced design of an original extruder. The maximum working temperature of the head is 400°C, which allows to use most of the available filaments on the market.

Innovative design of the extruder
The maximumworking temperature of the head inthe Urbicum DX model is 400°C,themeltingarea oftheprinting material is 30 mm. The design of this element enables long-term printing in the highest quality, the permissible amount of embossed material is even 5 kg per day. These parameters make the printercompatible with most of the philanthropy available on the market.

Urbicum DX is equipped witha filament end sensorand protectionagainst jammingand entanglement of the filament.
Perfectly flat platform for printing and large working area
The printing table is made of high quality10 mm thick aluminium.Additionally, it is covered with another layer of 6 millimetre aluminium or 4 millimetre glass. This solution allowed toobtain an almost perfectly smooth surface, which is a key element in obtaining the best possible printing results. The printing platform does not require mapping and levelling with every printout. Itsmaximum operating temperature is 140°C.
Closed-circuit workspace
Urbicum DX hasa closed casing, which allows the printer to safely use materials such as ABS. Theworking areain the chamberhas dimensions of 305 x 305 x 380 mm.The print field isilluminated, RGBW diodes change their colour depending on the work progress.
Advanced axis shifting mechanisms for high speed operation
The design of the device allowsprinting at speeds up to 200 mm/sec. Such an impressive result is possible thanks to the use of the highest quality elements enabling precise movement in all axes. In Urbicum DX we can findparts from renowned manufacturers:
- GATES / OPTIBELT belts
- HIWIN/BOSCH rails and linear motion trolleys for XYZ planes
- HIWIN 1605 ball screws used in the Z axis
Urbicum DX.
A dedicatedUrbiboard v 0.3is responsible for controlling the printer. All electronic components and drive motors responsible for movement in the individual axes are located outside theworking area of the printer.
Compact device dimensions
The external dimensions of the printer are 678 x 498 x 736 mm. The enclosureallows the print material to be hidden in the side of the enclosure. The device controller is a4.3″ touchscreenwhich, thanks to the built-in magnet, can be placed anywhere on the device frame.
